The launcher installs Ashita for you now

Setting up Ashita by hand has been the sharpest edge of joining DriftwoodXI: find the right Ashita v4 build, unzip it somewhere sensible, get xiloader into the bootloader folder, then point the launcher at all of it. Miss a step and the launcher could only tell you something like "Ashita-cli.exe not found" — true, but no help at all.

Launcher 0.9.0 removes the whole chore.

What changed

• Install Ashita for me. The first-run wizard now leads with one button. Press it and the launcher downloads the official DriftwoodXI Ashita bundle — Ashita v4, xiloader, every plugin, and the full DriftwoodXI addon set, the same roster the Addons page manages — and stands it up in a folder it owns. Nothing to unzip, nothing to configure.
• Settings has the same button. If you skipped setup, or your Ashita path ever stops working, Settings → Paths offers Install Ashita right where the path lives, plus a Browse button for pointing at an install of your own.
• Every download is verified. The bundle is published with its exact size and SHA-256; the launcher refuses anything that does not match, and a failed install cleans up after itself completely — it can never leave you with half an Ashita.
• Clearer words when something is off. If a launch cannot proceed because Ashita is missing or the path is wrong, the message now says exactly which it is and which button fixes it.

What did not change

• Your existing install is yours. If the launcher is already pointed at a working Ashita folder it stays untouched, and the automatic install never overwrites files it did not put there.
• The addons keep updating the same way they always have — the bundle is just the starting point; from there the launcher's content updates keep you matched to the server.

Existing launchers pick up 0.9.0 automatically — when the version pill offers a restart, take it. New players just download the launcher and press two buttons.
