Stone and tide: six trials, three shrines, nine arenas

The raid board triples: Waughroon Shrine and Balga's Dais open beside Horlais Peak, four new bosses join the roster — including a petrifying pair — every shrine runs three arenas at once, fights are capped at fifteen minutes, and the daily bonuses are retuned.

The arena was always occupied. Now there are nine of them.

The raid board grew from one shrine to three today, and from two bosses to six. Open it (/raid, or !raid typed) and pick a fight — the board handles the rest, exactly as before: gather your party in any city, press Enter, and win or lose you come back to the tile you left from.

What waits inside:

  • Horlais Peak — the fights you know. The Tidebound Colossus and its wyverns, the Riptide Behemoth and its bloodflies.
  • Waughroon Shrine — the tide pair. The Wakeshell Adamant, a mountain of a tortoise whose crabs scuttle in from the sands, and the Maelstrom Sovereign, a royal jelly that splits into its own court.
  • Balga's Dais — the stone pair, and mind your footing. The Gravegaze Medusa petrifies anyone caught watching her — turn away when she winds up, or spend the next moments as a statue. The Cragmaw Basilisk breathes whole parties to stone while its hatchlings pour out of the rubble.

Every fight runs at all four tiers, Easy through Savage, and every one of them pays its own daily first-clear bonus — six fights, four tiers, that is twenty-four bonuses waiting every day.

Three other changes worth knowing:

  • Three arenas per shrine. Each shrine now hosts three simultaneous runs, nine server-wide, and the board shows exactly how many are busy and how long each fight has been going. "The arena is occupied" should now be a rare sentence instead of the usual one.
  • Fifteen-minute fights. The battle timer is halved from thirty. These fights were never meant to take half an hour — and an arena someone abandoned now frees itself twice as fast.
  • Daily bonuses retuned. First-clear bonuses are now 10, 20, 40 and 80 Driftmarks for Easy, Normal, Difficult and Savage — double the base pay at every tier. With triple the fights paying them, a full sweep still earns more per day than before the patch; the retune keeps gear on roughly the same clock the armory was priced against.

The raid window updates itself through the launcher within a few hours of this post — or restart the launcher and it arrives at the next Play. The new fights appear on the board either way, and the typed commands work with no addon at all: !raid enter wakeshell, !raid enter maelstrom, !raid enter gravegaze, !raid enter cragmaw, each with a tier word of your choice.

Bring a party, or bring your squad. The statues in Balga's Dais were adventurers once too.
