A thousand slots that follow your account
The Warehouse is open. A thousand storage slots your whole account shares, opened with /warehouse from anywhere, with a Stash All button that empties a full bag in one press and kits that pull a recipe's materials back before you sit down to craft.
Vana'diel's bags have not grown since 2002. Eighty slots is eighty slots, the number is compiled into the client, and every server that has ever tried to raise it has found the same wall. So we did not raise it.
The Warehouse is somewhere else to put things. It is not a container, not a mog safe and not a mule: it is storage the server holds for your account, one pool, and what goes in it leaves your bags entirely. Type /warehouse from anywhere in the world and it is on screen.
A thousand slots, shared
One thousand slots, and every character on your account reaches the same thousand. Stash something on your main and your mule can take it out. There is no sending, no delivery box, no waiting for a call — it is one pool and every one of your characters is standing in front of it.
Everything in it is searchable. Type three letters of a name and the list narrows, the same way /bags does, because it is the same idea pointed at a much bigger shelf.
Stash All
The button that changes an evening.
Stash All takes your inventory and empties what it safely can into the warehouse in one press. It skips what you would not want moved without being asked: nothing rare, nothing exclusive, nothing augmented, nothing you have equipped, nothing in your bazaar, and nothing you have pinned. Then it tells you what it took and what it left behind, and why.
Full bag in a dungeon, three drops on the floor you cannot pick up: one press, and you keep hunting.
Kits, for the crafting sitting
A kit is a named list of materials. Build one for a recipe you make often, press it, and everything on the list comes back out of the warehouse and into your bags at once — the whole shopping list in one click instead of eleven withdrawals.
The other direction is the real win: craft until you are out, Stash All, and the materials for the next sitting are one kit away. Nothing about crafting itself changes. Synthesis still consumes what is in your real bags, exactly as it always has.
The one rule worth knowing
Everything you own can go in, come out, and be taken out by any character you own. Exclusive gear included. Augmented gear included. Your artifact feet can go on the shelf on your main and come off it on your mule.
That was not true when the Warehouse opened. Gear that was exclusive, augmented, or that the game would not let you deliver stayed bound to whoever stashed it — stored and searchable, but only that character could take it back. It was the delivery box's line, drawn in the one place it does not belong: the delivery box refuses those items between two people, and there is only one person here. Your mule is you. As of 8 August 2026 the Warehouse says so, and so does /bags — Send and Fetch carry exclusive gear between your own characters now too.
The wall that has not moved is the one that matters: your account. Nothing in your warehouse is reachable by anybody else, and an augment bought on the Drift Exchange is still not tradeable to another player — putting it on a shelf does not launder it, and neither does handing it to yourself.
Rare works the way it always has, on the way out rather than the way in: if you are already holding one, the warehouse keeps hold of the second rather than handing you a copy the game will not let you own.
Throwing things away
Added 9 August 2026. Every row in the window has a Trash button now. It throws the stored item away where it sits — no pulling it into your bags first just to drop it, no free slot needed. It asks before it acts, names exactly what you are about to lose, and warns in red if the item is rare, exclusive or augmented, because there is no undo. Typed, it is !warehouse trash <id> <qty>.
How to open it
Type /warehouse. Type it again to close it. /wh does the same.
The launcher installs and updates dwwarehouse automatically and it joins the Default addon set, so for most of you it is already there. If nothing opens, it is switched off: turn it on in the launcher's Addons tab, or load it where you stand with
`` /addon load dwwarehouse ``
That lasts the session; the Addons tab is what survives a restart.
Like every addon here, the window is a renderer and never a gate. !warehouse prints the same shelf in chat and every verb it has is a verb you can type.
The number is ours now
A thousand is where it starts, not where it ends. The cap is a number the server owns rather than a limit baked into a twenty-four-year-old client, which means it can be earned upward — future rewards will raise it, and when they do your existing shelf simply gets longer.
This moves real items out of real bags. It has been built the careful way, every deposit and every withdrawal is a single database transaction so nothing can be duplicated or lost halfway through, but it is new. Count something the first time you stash it, and if a number ever looks wrong, say so immediately rather than working around it. /report reaches us from in game with your real state attached, and discord.gg/DriftwoodGaming is the second-shortest path.
