DriftwoodXI is a private Final Fantasy XI server built on LandSandBoat, tuned for people who want to see Vana'diel rather than grind it. Everything below is live right now.
The short version
- Level cap 99, launching with the base game and Rise of the Zilart — further expansions open as they are play-verified here, not before they work.
- New characters start ready to play: all maps, all outpost warps, the hub home point crystals already unlocked, and 5,000 gil in your pocket.
- You start on the six starter jobs, and every other job's unlock quest can be taken from level 1 — the jobs are quests, not a level gate.
- All inventories start at 80 slots.
- Six clients per account — multiboxing is expected, not tolerated.
- Sub job unlocks at level 1, and your sub job level equals your main job level — no half-level sub, ever.
House rules
No cash shop — and there never will be one. No pay-to-win. No wipes. It is a small server with a short line to the people running it, so if something is broken, say so — it usually gets fixed the same evening.
