DRIFTWOODXI

The website is open

xi.driftwoodgaming.com is live — make an account, download the launcher, reset a password you have lost, and read everything posted here without installing anything first.

DriftwoodXI has a website: [xi.driftwoodgaming.com](https://xi.driftwoodgaming.com). Until now the only way to learn anything about this server was to already have the launcher, which is a poor way to invite anyone in. That is fixed.

What is on it

  • Create an account. This is now the only place accounts are made. It takes a username, an email and a password, and you are done — the launcher never asks you to make one, it just asks you to sign in with it.
  • Download the launcher, with the file's SHA-256 printed beside it so you can check that what you downloaded is what was published.
  • Password reset. If you lose a password, the site emails you a link and you choose a new one. Previously there was no answer to that question at all.
  • Every post from this panel, readable in a browser. Same posts, same words, no account required to read them.

Why the email address matters

Registration asks for an email, and it is used for exactly one thing: proving you are you when you cannot log in. There is no mailing list, nothing is sold, and nothing else is ever sent to it. Give an address you can still open in a year — a password you cannot reset is a character you cannot reach.

Sending people here

If someone asks about the server, the website is the thing to point them at. It says what the rates actually are, what launches with the base game and Rise of the Zilart, why one account per player is the rule, and how the squad system works — rather than making them take your word for it and install something first.

The launcher remains where you play, and it still keeps itself and its addons current on its own. Nothing about your setup changes today.
