Rename your characters, skip the two stories, and refresh the chat log
The Drift Board grows a Special shelf with three services: a character rename for 500 Drift Coins, the Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia story skip for 1,000, and every waypoint of both expansions in DWPort for 250 once the stories are done. The GM panel's chat log gets a Refresh button.
Several of you asked to rename a character. One of you has a whole squad named Pld, Thf and Brd. This patch answers that, and two more requests that fit the same shelf.
The Special shelf
DWQuest's shops have a new Special tab. Nothing on it is an item.
- Rename a character, 500 Drift Coins. Pick any character on your account from the dropdown, type the new name, and confirm. The name has to pass the same rules the lobby applies when you create a character: letters only, three to fifteen of them, not taken, not on the banned list. The old name is freed. A character who is logged out is renamed on the spot. Your logged-in character can be renamed too, and takes the new name at its next login. A squad member summoned from that character keeps the old name until you call it again. Auction listings, delivery box senders, market orders and the politics rolls follow the new name; audit history keeps the old one on purpose.
- Skip to the end of Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia, 1,000 Drift Coins. The character is left holding exactly the mission state a finisher holds: the whole Zilart chain completed and The Last Verse in both logs. Nothing else. No key items, no rank, no quest rewards, no titles. Everything downstream reads the mission log, so Sky, Sea, the raid's Promathia gate and the item level ladder open the way they would have. A character who already holds both is refused.
- Every Zilart and Promathia waypoint in DWPort, 250 Drift Coins. The home points, survival guides, outposts and the story pass for both expansions, the same set the GM command grants. The row stays greyed until the character has finished both stories, and the server refuses it too. Buying it twice costs nothing the second time.
Every purchase is quoted first and spent only on confirm, like the rest of the board. Typed, it is !drift special and !drift specialbuy rename Pld Roland, !drift specialbuy story or !drift specialbuy waypoints, then !drift confirm. Update dwquest to 1.28.0 through the launcher to see the tab.
GM panel
The chat log on the Logs tab has a Refresh button beside Search. It reloads the newest lines for the channel you are on without touching the search box. dwgmpanel 1.3.4.
