The Player Market
Every listing with its real price, buy orders that escrow your gil, selling from anywhere with no listing fee, and an account wallet -- /dwah, from anywhere.
The Auction House grew up. Open /dwah anywhere in Vana'diel and the whole market is one window: every listing on the server with its real price — no blind bidding, no seven-slot menu, no walking to Jeuno — searchable and sorted by item level. The classic counter still works exactly as you know it, and it is the same market: list at the counter, sell in the window; list in the window, sell at the counter.
Selling is free. No listing fee anywhere, and listings stay up until they sell or you cancel them — nothing is ever returned on a timer. The house takes 5% when something actually sells, paid by the seller. And the first player ever to sell a given item earns a 2,000 gil pioneer bounty on top — the catalog is wide open, early crafters.
Buy orders are the headline. Post what you want at the price you will pay and the gil is escrowed on the spot. Crafters: the Orders tab is a live queue of real demand — fill somebody's order straight from your bag and your cut lands immediately. Cancel an unfilled order and the rest of your escrow comes straight back.
Everything is account-wide, the way this server likes things: any of your characters can cancel any listing your account owns, sale proceeds land in an account wallet you claim from whoever is standing anywhere, and goods from filled orders wait in your market box until you collect them. When something sells, you hear about it on the spot.
The market is player-only in supply: nothing is ever seeded or restocked again. The old shopkeeper's remaining shelf simply sells through — buying from it burns the gil forever — and every new price on the board is a real person's. Everything the window does also works typed as !market, with no addon at all.
One more thing for the treasure hunters: coffer and chest gil is retuned — ten times the retail base, the same payout whether your squad is out or not, split evenly when two or more players are in the party. Those 10x Curio key prices finally answer to something.
