The Drift Exchange gets a window
The augment storefront is a tab in /quests now. Today's four offers with their prices and the countdown to the next roll, a picker that shows you exactly the gear an offer can go on -- yours and your logged-out alts' -- the four slots with what is in them, and a price you see before you spend anything.
The Exchange opened this morning as typed commands. It has a window now.
Open /quests and the second tab is Exchange: today's four augments with what they cost and how long until the board rolls, and under them the gear each one can actually go on.
The picker only shows you what will work
This is the part worth explaining, because it is doing more than it looks like.
The list under an offer is not your inventory. It is the server's answer to "what could this augment go on right now" — so an item that is equipped, that is enchanted, that is a weapon-skill weapon, that is priced in your bazaar, or that simply is not equipment is not in the list at all. Everything that is in the list can be bought. Nothing in the list will refuse you at the last step for a reason you could not see.
Each row carries the number the whole feature turns on: how many of that item's four augment slots are already used. An offer that only fits weapons shows you weapons; one that only fits armour shows you armour. You never have to guess and then find out.
Your alts are in the dropdown
The On: dropdown at the top of the list is every character on your account. Pick one who is logged out and the list becomes their bags — the same @Name trick the typed commands take, without typing a name you have to spell right. Characters who are logged in are still in the dropdown, greyed, saying so, because "my alt is missing from this list" is a worse question than "my alt is logged in".
Nothing buys on one click
Picking an item asks for a price. It does not buy.
What comes back is the quote: the cost, the item's four slots with what is sitting in each one, and which slot the augment would land in. Only then does a Confirm button exist — and it exists only for that quote. Click it and it is gone; if the purchase is refused for any reason, it does not come back and nothing is re-sent. Ask again and you get a fresh price.
If all four slots are full, the item offers you its slots instead of a price. Each occupied one gets a Replace button, and clicking it asks for a fresh quote naming that slot, so the thing you are painting over is named in the sentence you agree to.
Everything it does, you can still type
!drift augments, !drift gear x1, !drift augment x1 Bronze Sword and !drift confirm all still work, and there is now !drift gear to list what can take an augment without opening anything. The window sends those same lines. It has no prices of its own, no list of its own and no idea what an augment costs until the server tells it — which is how every window on this server is built, and why a bug in one cannot cost you a coin.
Turn the addon off and the whole Exchange is still there in chat.
