Squad weapon skills, unblocked
Decimation, Raging Rush and every weapon skill your characters have earned now work on your alt-trusts — quest weapon skills included, arriving at the same levels a real player gets them. And if you helped finish a server contract while logged off, the server now tells you about your payout on your next login.
Two of you filed reports this weekend saying your alt-trusts refused weapon skills they had every right to use. You were right — twice. There were two separate bugs underneath, and both are fixed.
Quest weapon skills work on your squad now
If you unlocked Decimation and handed your WAR alt an axe, the member refused to use it — and the refusal claimed something absurd like "needs 240 skill, has 265." That message was the bug talking: alt-trusts skipped every quest-earned weapon skill outright, and the error text fell through to the wrong sentence.
Now, once anyone on your account has unlocked a quest weapon skill, every squad member that meets the weapon, job and skill requirements can use it — gambit picks, typed commands, all of it. One quest unlocks it for the whole squad, the same way spells already work.
Weapon skills arrive at the right levels now
The second bug was quieter: squad members' weapon skill was capped below a real player's. A level 60 WAR member had Great Axe skill 190 when a real WAR60 caps at 203 — which is exactly why Raging Rush, which needs 200, never showed up until the mid-60s no matter what the gambit priority said.
Members now carry the same weapon-skill caps as a live player of their jobs and level, ranged weapons included. If your character would have the weapon skill at that level, so does your squad member.
Paid while you were away? Now you hear about it
Server contracts — the "The server slays 2000..." bar on the Drift Board — have always paid every account that did its part, even the ones logged off when the last kill landed. The coins were there; the announcement was not. The completion line fired once, live, and the board rolled to a fresh contract, so if you were away you came back to an empty bar and no word.
From now on, the server hands you the receipt on your way in. Next login after a contract you contributed to finishes, you get a line telling you what was slain and how many Drift Coins your part paid. Once per contract, no digging through the ledger.
Thanks to the players who sent these in through !report and Discord — both reports were exactly what they looked like, and the details you included (the "needs 240, has 265" line especially) pointed straight at the bug.
