Office pays now: the Mayor of Jeuno, powers with teeth, and a public ledger
DWPolitics grows a sixth seat and a ladder to the Crown, every office gets real powers held in check by design, DWPort's fares are now the office holders' to set, and half of every gil charged above the stock price is theirs while the other half leaves the game. All of it is on a public ledger.
This patch is about making an office worth holding, and worth taking away from someone. Update dwpolitics and dwport through the launcher; the server side is live now.
The Mayor of Jeuno, and the road to the Crown
There are six seats now. The Mayor of Jeuno files for a million gil, needs fame 9 in Jeuno, level 75, twenty Drift Board contracts this season, and one thing no other Mayor needs: a completed term as Mayor of Bastok, San d'Oria or Windurst. The Crown, in turn, now needs a completed term as Mayor of Jeuno on top of everything it already asked for. Town, then Jeuno, then the throne. There is no shortcut, and the Royal Treasurer's term no longer counts toward it.
What an office can do
Every power has a band, a cooldown, a line in the Chronicle, and the owner's veto. The new ones:
- Proclamations. Any seated holder can speak to the whole server once every 20 hours, from a fixed menu of lines. No free text, so nobody can fill your system channel.
- Fares. The Treasurer prices home points and survival guides, a town Mayor prices the outposts their nation holds, and the Mayor of Jeuno prices every warp into Jeuno. The band runs from a fifth of the stock price to twenty times it, and a rate can move once every 20 hours.
- The Crown's honours.

Where the gil goes
This is the part that makes an election matter. When a fare is set above the stock price, half of everything above it is paid to the office holder personally, and the other half is burned. It never enters another purse. The same rule now applies to the mercenary board's cut above its stock 35 percent, which pays the Treasurer.
Every gil of it is public. /politics has a Revenue tab: each seat's take and burn this season and lifetime, the realm's burn total, the last payments naming who paid whom how much, and the history of every rate change. Typed, it is !politics revenue. DWPort tells you at the moment you pay, too: the travel line reads the base fare, what went to the office, and what was burned. A greedy Mayor is a visible Mayor.
The owner can freeze every power at once if something goes wrong, and while frozen every fare reads the stock price.

Every button quotes the real bill, including a Jeuno crystal under two levers and an outpost under a Mayor's rate. A new Runic Portals tab lists Aht Urhgan's six staging points; it stays dark until Treasures of Aht Urhgan opens here and you hold the Boarding Permit.
Groundwork for Aht Urhgan
None of this is reachable yet, but it is in place for the day the expansion opens: !sanction grants the Imperial guard's Sanction for free, Imperial Standing is paid for every kill made under it, !imperial buys imperial pieces with standing from anywhere at Ugrihd's prices, and Salvage can actually be entered, permit and all.

Version 0.35.5 patches two new titles into your client, Mayor of Jeuno and Knight of the Realm, the same way the other seat titles arrived.
