Every craft to 110, and four fixes you asked for
One character can now master every crafting skill. /hidetrust finally hides squad pets too, Beastmaster Ready charges actually spend, the mystery DEBUG status icon is gone, and item tooltips show augments and readable elemental resists.
Five things, four of them straight from your bug reports and screenshots. Keep them coming — every one of these started as a player message.
Master every craft on one character
The specialization budget is now 3,200 points — exactly enough to take all eight crafting skills to 110 on a single character. The old budget allowed three crafts past the free cap of 70; that limit is gone. No more parking crafts on alts: your main can be the whole workshop.
Rank-up tests at the guilds work exactly as before — you still earn Expert per craft — there is just no longer a wall that makes the fourth craft somebody else's job. The /craft window's ledger shows the new budget.
/hidetrust now hides squad pets
If a crowd of alt-trusts was eating your frame rate, the client's own /hidetrust command hid the trusts but left their pets — six Carbuncles still on screen. The server now marks a trust's pet the same way it marks the trust, so /hidetrust culls them together. Your own pets and other players' real pets are untouched.
Beastmaster Ready charges actually spend now
Ready moves were not consuming charges — you could spam the same move forever. That was a genuine bug (a settings interaction that rounded every charge cost down to zero), and it also made Corsair's Quick Draw and Scholar's Stratagems free. All three now hold to their real charge pools: three Ready charges on a 30-second clock, five Stratagems at 99, two Quick Draw shots. If your BST rotation was leaning on the spam, this is why it feels different today.
While fixing it we found the same root cause was double-dipping the "15% faster ability cooldowns" bonus on a handful of abilities (Familiar, Unleash, the Waltzes and every two-hour with recast gear). Those now get the advertised 15% exactly once — no more, no less.
The "DEBUG: Please Report" status icon
A PLD reported Rampart granting a status with the BCNM symbol and a tooltip reading "DEBUG: Please Report" — and did exactly the right thing by reporting it. Rampart itself was innocent: the debug icon belonged to an internal server effect (the Battalia Downs chocobo minigame buff) that was being shown to the client as a status icon it has no artwork for. That effect is hidden now, and we fixed a related bug where having more than 32 status effects at once (easy with a full squad buffing you) could corrupt the status bar. Rampart works correctly for players and squad members alike — it always did — and now nothing on your buff bar asks you to file a report.
Tooltips: augments and readable resists
Two item-card upgrades across DWBags, DWWarehouse, the Market, the Armory and the Outfitter:
- Augments show on hover. Hover an augmented item and the card lists its augments by name and rank — in your own bags, in any of your other characters' bags through DWBags, and on the warehouse shelf. Signed and charged items still say just "Augmented", because those bytes aren't augment values and the card never invents any.
- Elemental resists are readable. The in-game element icons in item descriptions used to render as
?in addon tooltips. They now fold to three-letter tags:FiR:20is Fire Resist +20,DkR:-10is Dark Resist -10 — fire, ice, wind, earth, lightning, water, light, dark are FiR, IcR, WiR, EaR, LtR, WaR, LiR, DkR.
